House Walnut is a beautiful holiday home located at the very end of the hamlet of Ružići, nestled in the serenity of the surrounding greenery. Its serenity provides refuge for dreamers, artists, families and nature lovers, making it the perfect place to get away from the stresses of everyday life.

The stone walls bear witness to the home’s century-old history, reconstructed to introduce the spirit and comforts of modern living. Although the home is located only a few minutes’ from the seaside, it offers guests a private swimming pool and Mediterranean garden.

All prices are in euros. For stays shorter than three nights, a 30% surcharge is applied.
A safety deposit of 300 € is required and will be returned once the house has been inspected at check-out.
Prices are per day and per week and include the use of all the home’s facilities including the garden and all water, gas, electricity, internet and final cleaning charges. Guest registration and sojourn tax are also included in the price.

Cancellations
In the case of cancellations the deposit is not returned. In the case of a cancellation one month before the reserved stay, no refunds are available.

To make your reservation a deposit of 300 € must be made. The remaining costs can be paid upon arrival or by bank transfer before arrival.

How to find us

A high plateau above the Raša River Valley, in the hinterland behind the city of Labin you will find the very special municipality of Sveta Nedelja. Numerous bicycle and trekking paths are prefect for exploring the surrounding hamlets and villages. House Walnut is located at the end of of Ružići, a tiny hamlet of only ten homes in total, surrounded by greenery, vineyards and orchards which give the home a special, Mediterranean charm. You will arrive here by driving along the rolling hills with breath-taking views of the coast and Mediterranean ambience between Labin and Rabac.

The old city of Labin

The hillside above Rabac is home to the medieval town of Labin which first appeared in recorded history as Albona in 285 AD. This is the city of Matija Vlačić, the reformer who collaborated with Martin Luther, and a town with numerous cultural and historical landmarks which bear witness to the city’s rich history. The old city itself is like an open-air atelier, a refuge for artists, painters and sculptors but also for local youth who gather in the various charming cafes and bars.
